Updating the bookmarks

I’ve been out of school for several weeks, so I’m good and normal again. But school’s about to start back up, and the Chiefs are done, and baseball’s around the corner, so I’ve got to get the crazy back in me.

The first step is updating the bookmarks, and checking the Royals blogs I haven’t visited in a month.

First and foremost, let me say that I’m ashamed that I just found out about this: Royals Retrospective is a Royals history blog from Royals Roundtable member Max, known around here as Alex Gordon’s #1 Fan. Go check that out, pronto. I’m very excited about its potential.

Moving on, here are the other current Royals blogs that I know of, in no particular order:

MVN’s Royals Authority
Royals Review
Rob and Rany
The Daily Lancer
Breaking 100
Royales With Cheese
Royals Report

Also Around the Horn in KC is the Royals’ official blog, which is… different.
And a royals fan in atlanta is a KC Star-sponsored blog, which may have some potential.

Of course, several Royals blogs called it quits last season.

Am I missing any Royals blogs that you’ve got bookmarked?

You guys stick with it and you will have a great season one day, when all your joy will return. I never thought it possible for me, but it happened.

Then, it will be snatched horribly away, and you'll be miserable for weeks.

But finally, you'll think it was worth it anyway.

I've been blogging almost exclusively about the Royals at H.G. Miller Sports and will be providing content to the OTB Sports Royals Section in the coming year.

Would welcome any feedback the group can provide.

I appreciate those links. If I remember correctly, I had checked your blog earlier but it wasn't being updated at the time. I apologize for that, and I look forward to reading your stuff this season.

Aw shucks, thanks for the plug Garth. I'm working on an essay of the 1988 season that should be up in a few weeks.

For such a bad franchise, the Royals seem to have some of the better fan blogs around. Although I must admit, quite a few have been WAY too optimistic lately. They still can't hold a candle to the irrationality of Red Sox and Mets fans though!
