The rookies have been pitching well, but I don't see Gabbard shutting down many good offenses, and I'm ready for Schilling to take his place. (Gabbard's margin for error is teensy. I could see him putting together some Doug Davis-y seasons down the line, but I don't think now is the time. I'd go with Lester.)
Gabbard's stock has risen this year, but I don't think a team is ever going to feel good in Spring Training if he's their #5 starter.
