One of the ads we’re being served speaks to us. I find this annoying and disruptive, but it’s not a BIG deal. It only says, in a male voice, “Congratulations! You’ve Won!”

Newsblog link isn’t resolving correctly, for some reason:

If you try to go to http://www.baseballthinkfactory.org/files/newsstand/newsblog/ , the site’s domain name is for some reason resolving to baseballthinkfactyory.org , which obviously doesn’t work. It seems to be an issue with only that page - the general newsstand page loads fine, as do specific newsblog items.

I don’t know enough about the Internets to understand why this is happening, but I figured someone should be told.

Has the Newsstand RSS feed ever worked?

Whenever I subscribe to the feed, my RSS reader immediately appears to be up to date, but as the Newsstand updates, my feed reader never stays in sync. Basically, it appears as though there’s something wrong with how the feed updates feed readers, at the very least w/r/t my choice of readers (both the Mac and iPhone versions of NetNewsWire).

Not knowing anything about the RSS specification, or how your CMS publishes feeds, I’m not sure I can point to a specific thing. The feed does validate, but not without warning(s). I’ll be sure to check if this problem exists elsewhere (I’m currently playing around with Google Reader), but it’d be great to know if this is something anyone else has ever encountered.

The links that purport to segregate the newsblog post by team - e.g., “Minnesota,” “Mets,” etc. - no longer function.

How do you copy the quote from comment #8 like the guy did in comment #9.
