I don’t know if it’s a record or not, but Charlie Hemphill led the 1908 New York Highlanders with 44 RBI. For a more modern team, Tom Haller led the 1968 Dodgers with 53.
More recently, Tom Herr and Andy Van Slyke the 1986 Cardinals with 61 each. Sandwiched between two World Series teams!
