Book on Baseball Basics

Hello, fellow primates.
I’m wondering about a book for my dad about baseball. I’m looking for a basics book that basically goes over what baseball is, some history, the basic rules and strategy, etc. My dad is from Israel and doesn’t really understand baseball, but he wants to learn a bit about it. I would recommend the Baseball book from the For Dummies series, but it’s written by Joe Morgan for one thing, and for another, I previewed it and it’s not very coherent or good, especially for someone for whom English is only a second language.

Recommendations would be appreciated!

Thanks,
TS

Jerry Remy’s Book, “Watching Baseball” wasn’t horrible. It might be a bit in depth for someone who doesn’t know anything about baseball, though. Not that it’s terribly accurately in depth, but it kind of skips over the “three outs in an inning” and goes straight to infield positioning.

You may be best of looking in the children’s section.  Everything else is written for fans who already know the basics.
