A lucky 50. This guy either scores less than 10 or more than 15-

Here’s Kumble - he needs to grab a wicket to lift the team.

Harbhajan’s been sucking for a while. Has lost his flight.
Kumble and Zaheer for a spell before lunch, I am guessing.

Karma is a #####. It will bite Jacques in the ass one day. I am just hoping its during this series.

Karma has caught up to Kevin Pieterson , IMHO.

If Shane Warne makes that catch at the Oval his Ashes 2005 would have been deemed poor & maybe dropped. Instead he hits a purple patch that ended at the Adelaide test here last year when Warnie bowled him around his legs.

Lunch - the good old none for a hungee.

We were lucky but India could have done with a better effort from the first change bowlers

Wonderful session for Aussies. This is uphill from here for the Indians.

Never warmed to Pieterson. Just don’t like watching him play.
Time for a break. Hope me not watching spurs the bowlers on!

I’m here at my desk for about another 2 hours. Next session is time for Kumble to step up

Sounded like a great delivery…

This is really good ball from Zaheer and it cleans up Ponting. Zaheer comes round the stumps, changing the angle, and gets this ball to hold its line just a fraction. It’s pitched on a good length and this means Ponting is neither fully committed to the front foot nor going back. The ball slips past the outside edge and pegs back the off stump. That is a quality ball to get rid of a massively dangerous batsman

Now I am conflicted. Should I watch?
Zaheer and RP got tons of wickets in Eng going around the stumps. I don’t know why the angle should bother the batsmen. Thats like facing a Right arm over the wicket bowler

Yea, that it was. Angled in, pitches off, and straigtened. Ponting a bit stuck on the crease and playing towards midwicket

Oh I was talking of the Ponting delivery. Hussey happened as I hit enter :(
my video stream 1 ball behind cricinfo.

Hussey just played all over a straight one really.

As long as Hayden is there, Aussies have this. I have nightmares of the 2001 series. Managed to watch almost every ball between exams.

It all happened so quick. It was a blur.

Hayden needs to stay in at least till 150

Agree.

Jesus - Clarke just got squared up there

Zack bowled the same delivery to Clarke, a bit fuller. Clarke edged it, jsut short of Kumble in the gully. took it on the half volley.

Hayden is 95 of ###### 119 balls. This is a test match, Matty!

Thats a good one hour for India though. Thats more pressure than the whole of the SL series!
