I’ve been running a seven year keeper league with 18 teams and we need two owners.
We use a scoring system adapted from something Keith Woolner (formerly of BP fame and now I think with the Indians) came up with about 10 years ago and has a sabermetricy bent.
We have an interesting keeper system which works quite well, where one can keep as many players as one would like per year, but the round at which one can keep a player increases each year. Thus, the longer one keeps a player the more costly it becomes to keep him. This mirrors the situation in MLB quite accurately.
The majority of our owners are quite dedicated and knowledgeable as evidenced by the fact that we’re in our seventh or eighth year.
We play on yahoo.
