That’s horrible luck.

Is there aught we hold in common with the greedy parasite,
Who would lash us into serfdom and would crush us with his might?
Is there anything left to us but to organize and fight?

On replay, it’s an excellent reaction by Almunia.

Its a great save. Arsenal will try to shut it down, but you can’t really blame them. The second half might look a lot like last year’s FA Cup final.

Tommy Smith is godawful. I wish we had the British feed up here - we get it for the Premiership.

I wouldn’t blame Arsenal, but it would still suck from the perspective of a spectator. It’ll be like the Italy-Netherlands semifinal in Euro 2000. What a frustrating match.

Should be 1-1, with 11 men apiece.

I like Tommy Smyth. He calls the St. Patrick’s Day parade every year and seems to know every Irish person ever.

I’m sure he’s charming enough, but he’s total Man U homer (which, as a City fan, is very irritating), and doesn’t really bring much to the table in terms of analysis.

Surprised we’re the only ones here. It doesn’t bode well for my planned World Cup Lounges.

Tommy Smyth is better than Jack Edwards. Since that’s the only other guy who routinely calls games on American TV, I’ll take Smyth. Edwards was the most over-the-top American homer in the 2002 Cup.

That was an odd call. Didn’t look that foul-y to me.

And I totally tune out Smyth when he talks about Man U. I do like the brogue, though.

Hey! There are other people in the US watching? Makes me feel good.

Quality save.

Nice save by Almunia again.

That was no card on Henry. Ronaldinho is off form.

Well, one other person at least Matt. I’m Canadian.

Ronaldinho hasn’t done much, I agree. Giuly has probably been Barca’s best player, at least in the first half.

Ronaldinho hasn’t done much…even with the extra man. You have to be impressed with Arensal’s drive.

UH OH! Ronaldinho did something.

Ronaldinho looks like a frog. And he shoots like a frog.

That was a crap free kick. The rain will make thing interesting. So far its been better than most 11 on 10 European matches.

Barca needs subs, but Ronaldinho is starting to take over.

That should have been a card. Totally cynical play on a great run by Lungberg.

Alumina has been more than good - he’s been a savior.

I agree it should have been a card on the Ljungberg run. Thought Henry fouled Puyol.

I always liked Henrik Larson more with dreds.

Nice ball Ronaldinho.

This is Henrik Larsson’s type of game. I could easily see him scoring.
