at the risk of sound misogynistic, who is that stupid #####?
Crouch, breakout player??? does ESPN love to go out and find stupid analysts? don’t they find a good one by mistake?

i like the other guys’ picks. Messi is going to have agood tournament if Aimar and Riquelme do their work

I think Crouch is capable of having a very good tournament. He’s a streaky player hitting form.

Who do you like here? I pick Poland.

I agree ESPN’s soccer coverage sucks. TSN’s is actually quite good, Dick Howard, Craig Forrest…

The one and only Canada reference!

Except probably some OWen HArgreaves related ones.

The problem with Crouch is movement, and really his body strength is on the lower side too. He will get bulled around by the stronger defenders.
I never thought much of Niall Quinn, but I might just take Quinn over Crouch.
Who was that 7 ft striker from Czech? his name started with K i think.

I never seen Ecuador play..so no idea :( If they play exciting football, then them, no matter if they win or lose

Well, the seattle times had an article the other day on 10 players who were poised to become household names. The list includes Henry, Rooney, and ronaldihno. Now, I’m not saying the espn person isn’t stupid, but she’s not saying anything dumber than what a ton of people across the country are saying, #### everyone else in the world already knows.

In case you wanted to make yourself dumber:

Hargreaves is canadian?

Is the cup on cbc in canada? I might end up watching it there instead of on abc tomorrow morning if it is. And I get that at my house, so I wouldn’t have to go over to the gf’s house to watch the games that are on espn.

Deadspin.com’s liveblogging it.

Football365.co.uk has a decent gametracker, though it’s nowhere near as good as ESPN’s.  (When ESPN’s gametracker is working, of course.)

Good lord, Tommy Smyth is awful.  I wonder how much we’d have to pay him to stop talking.
