Well, I don’t think we deserved to go through to the next round. We didn’t have much creative play up front in any of the games. Johnson didn’t really have much presence in this game. Neither MacBride nor Donovan looked particularly sharp, and the midfielders were for the most part totally unable to thread the ball behind the defence.

How does the table stand in the Aussie group? Brazil on 6, Oz on 3? I can’t remember what happened between Japan and Croatia - was it a 0-0 draw? So Australia need a draw to go through, assuming Japan don’t beat Brazil by two goals - is that right?
