Highest OPS to start a career?
Posted: 27 June 2010 08:02 PM   [ Ignore ]

Brennan Boesch’s OPS is currently over 1.000 through the first 214 PAs of his career. Where does he rank all-time?

Putting my specific question aside, is there any way to find out OPS leaders for certain milestones to start a career (100 PAs, 500 PAs, 1000 PAs, etc)? I thought B-ref’s play index might be able to answer this, but I haven’t figured it out. It appears that it’s possible to get leaders for a given stat among players in their first year, but not a subset such as X number of PAs.

not sure where he ranks all-time, but Albert Pujols had a 1.102in his first 215 PA of his career.
