Like bads, I am also chastened by what happened to me in that game.
But the fact remains that tonight we are going to kill someone on minimal evidence. So there’s no avoiding some mouthiness.
True—like I just said, I think that plays into the wolves’ hands—plus, keeping it close to the vest means less information is out there to be processed. We might want to beware of the lurkers today.

hco, what were you hmmming about in post 919? I think I remember wolf cw doing a similar thing in the first game. It just stands out as kinda a wolfy thing to do, in a fake thoughtful kinda way.
I was thinking the thoughts I eventually posted at 1948 UTC.
I am here, home from work. It’s worthwhile to talk this out for a bit so that in case the seer gets offed (either by the village or the werewolves) we can maybe discern a few things from what he’s said.

As of right now I could vote for hco and smelly. on a completely related note, I can dig what daryn is saying, and would not vote for him.
kirby, bads, answer guy, who knows?
Why HCO?
I didn’t like his hmmmmm post.
Maybe he likes the Crash Test Dummies. I know it is the first day, but that seems like a hair trigger. I think Daryn is being hasty with his smelly vote also. However, I don’t know if that makes them wolves—I doubt it. I am going to play a few holes and ponder this—- I get the feeling the real wolves are just hanging back.

I got nothing useful here. Someone had to suggest a victim first, and it was not necessarily a werewolf.
I see a couple of possible scenarios (in order of likelihood at this time):
1) The wolves are holding back from piling onto Smelly, knowing the finger of will be on them tomorrow even if they get Smelly tonight.
2) Smelly is a wolf, and the other wolf is holding back, not to draw attention to himself.
3) Darryn and HCO are wolves and are cleverly attempting a fast one and are trying to eliminate Smelly without much fuss.
I think while 2) is a solid strategy, it is not likely in this case because unless the wolf is craven, he’s at least try to deflect some of the finger pointing at Smelly. So far the only person who has remotely spoke up for Smelly is me, and I know I am not a wolf. 3) Three is a long shot (and is sort of dependent on one being correct, but masterful if correct. Darryn makes an early vote, gets no bites, so he and HCO cook up a plan to quickly eliminate Smelly when they see the rest of the village playing it safe.
I am going to have a stiff cocktail and muse this over, then vote.
If the wolves know Smelly is a human (and if he is, they both do) they will want other people to do their dirty work for them. We are running out of time, but, what would happen if someone else came under suspicion?

I am musing the same thing. I’d like some more logic on the able, and Darryn is the best guy for that. I am starting to wonder if my 3) wasn’t so far fetched. I am going to cast a vote for Darryn right now—I will gladly change my vote if he can poke holes in my 3). I hope he can shed some light—even if he doesn’t, my vote is not cast in stone.

who do you suggest?
That’s a fair question. Everyone’s playing it pretty close right now.
I’m thinking Daryn as the first to call. After the last game, it seems like joining a pile on is too obviously a way to attract suspicion. So why not start one?
