I vote to kill smelly.

Could you elaborate?

This kinda goes to ag’s post below.  Daryn seems like he is playing the same kind of game he has played before when he was villager.  I like what he had to to say about smelly.  My t3wo main suspects were hco and smelly and I find smelly slightly wolfier.

to be more specific, smelly seems to be kinda lashing out in 967 and 968.

I think there is pitfalls in looking too much into consistency from game to game. That being said, I understand why Smelly had had doubt cast his way. Let’s say Darryn is a villager and cast a legit vote. I’d say that leaves HCO up for suspicion for casting his vote against Smelly—while the second wolf lies in wait. Again, this is all very flimsy.

Perhaps in 967—I don’t see it so much in 968. Thanks for the clarification though—your initial vote against Smelly seemed hasty, but you explained it.

I meant to say that daryn was making sense like he did in previous games.  Its more me finding his posts genuinely inquisitive and thoughtful.  That is a sign of villageryness, imo.

And I get your point about looking for absolute consistency game to game.  TBH, you are playing differently this game, but I think you are probably a villager here as well.  ( of course I still maintain you played differently game two than game one, so take this with as nmuch salt as you need).

I vote to kill HCO.

I vote this way because HCO voted to kill Smelly after Daryn did.  There’s a decent chance that Daryn made an honest vote and HCO followed with his own honest vote to get the game moving.  In that case I’m condemning an innocent man.  If Daryn is a wolf and HCO got suckered in, we’re in big trouble regardless.  The other possibilities are that Daryn made a straight vote and HCO saw a wolfish opportunity, or the two are working together.

The reasoning is hardly rock-solid, but I don’t have much else to go on.

Posted: 10 February 2012 10:49 PM   [ Ignore ]   [ # 983 ]

I’m in a cab.  HCO and I are not wolves working together.  It would seem to me too ham handed to cast the first two votes as wolves.

Earlier I was taunting the wolves to cast the first votes.  The purpose of that was to see who casted the first vote despite the taunt.  My thinking was that a wolf wouldn’t dare.  It didn’t quite work because I cast the first vote because I wasn’t sure if I’d get bck from dinner before 10.  But I am suspicious of those holding back on voting and least suspicious of HCO and Kirby based on their posts so far.

I am not sold on Smelly as a wolf but I am pretty sure he is not a seer (I think a seer would be quieter and certainly wouldn’t advocate random killings).  Since our most important goal is to have the seer survive, I am pretty comfortable with his death.

I am mildly suspicious of Flounder since if I am right that HCO is not a wolf, Flounder’s Smelly vote is wolfy if Smelly is in fact a human.

I am definitely playing differently this game—I made rash mistakes in the first two games. Your points about Darryn make sense—I am leaning heavily to changing my vote.

If both hco and smelly are villagers, why is me voting either of them wolfy?  Any vote among those two is going to be for a villager.  Or is it that my 2 suspects were both villas?

Interesting observation. I got so used to being a werewolf during the earlier round of Werewolf games that I was thrilled to be a villager last time around.

Anyway, I know I’m not a werewolf, but at least three and probably four of you don’t know that and under the circumstances I could perhaps see why one might not take what I say at face value.

I think there is definitely suspicion on HCO. I mistakenly voted for him last time, so I am leery of casting another ovete for hi, However, the past is the past, and maybe he is thinking I vote vote for him because of last game. I am running out of time.

Flounder,

I am mildly suspicious of all subsequent votes in a pile on.  Because I think HCO’s other posts make him villagery, you are mildly suspicious as the other piler on.  That said, I agree with respect to AG and you r post in that regard is villagery.

And keep in mind for tomorrow, if we lynch a villa today, that it will be 3-2 and one vote for a villager by a villager will give the wolves a win.  They can pile on.  So please think before voting.

The crowd surrounds HCO just as the sun begins to dip below the line of the forest. They subdue him with punches, and kicks, dragging him to the nearest stump. Someone snatches up an axe, and manages to take the head off of HCO in a couple of swings. You wait to see if anything will happen as the sun sets, but to your horror you realize that you’ve just murdered an innocent man.
