I’ve been reading bits and pieces of this at night before I turn in lately.  It’s almost as good as the Abstracts in some respects.

Where’d you find it, GGC?  I should probably read some Bill James at some point.  I’ve always heard he writes well.

I bought it when it came out.  I still have it 16 years later.  But there are plenty of places to find used books online.  The only one of his nationally published books that I don’t have is the 1982 Abstract and I borrowed that from some library once.
