So with our new fangled rotation, I've prepared myself for many 9-7 games....

How does Buchholz with a sore back go on a 14 day DL, then need to see a specialist, whereas Pujols breaks his wrist and comes back in 17 days? Do we have the worst medical staff ever? This is all shades of Ellsbury last year...

Just a day off. His first of the season in fact. He also said that he doesn't pick up the ball well out of Romero's hand, and his 5 strikeouts in 6 ABs against Romero don't contradict that.

McClellan called time AFTER Thames hit the ball on the flyout to Ellsbury, and the play was called back and Thames was allowed to continue batting, though he ended up striking out. One of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen.

I'd like to see him platoon with Navarro in RF once Crawford's back actually. I don't have an issue with Crawford riding the pine instead of Reddick some of the time against the lefty starters though.

Navarro has some kind of arm. Maybe he should just be starting at SS with Reddick in the OF everyday instead, since Scutaro can't make throws from the hole and hasn't hit at all other than the series in Toronto.

Now we will be victimized by the dark cloud that has been shadowing Timmy for a few years-first step, big rain delay outta nowhere to get the best Sock reliever out of the game.

#54--It's easier to score from 2nd than 1st. While I don't care about Papelbon's ERA, I do care about just handing them a run on a single.

I'm probably irrational, but I like making teams earn bases/runs, and I prefer 1st & 3rd with 2 outs and up by 2 runs to runner on 1st up by 1 run.
