Yea! More runners left on base!
   2. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 01:04 AM (#3907346)
Well that was inevitable.
   3. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 01:05 AM (#3907348)
That's what you get for walking ALEX GONZALEZ with the bases loaded.

I will never complain about Quade not starting the kids if the kids means watching Casey Coleman start games.
   4. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 01:40 AM (#3907390)
Why do you even pitch to Ramirez with a base open, two outs, and JEFF BAKER on deck?
   5. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 01:42 AM (#3907394)
Why is Jeff Baker still on this team? And why is Pena in the lineup against a lefty
   6. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 01:46 AM (#3907404)
John Grabow is definitely the guy you put in after your team rallies for four runs in an inning.
   7. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 01:58 AM (#3907432)
Guys I don't want to see in a Cubs uniform next year:
Pena
Baker
Grabow
Soriano
Byrd
Rodrigo Lopez
Casey Coleman (at least in the rotation)
   8. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:00 AM (#3907439)
You forgot Quade.
   9. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:05 AM (#3907453)
Good point! Plus, most of the coaching staff.
   10. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:10 AM (#3907460)
Echoing what you said yesterday: Wood has been incredible lately.
   11. These Guys Suck Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:22 AM (#3907483)
Eat a dick, Pena.
   12. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:23 AM (#3907485)
Who didn't see that coming?
   13. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:24 AM (#3907488)
I have even less faith in Byrd to get the job done than I did Pena.
   14. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:25 AM (#3907490)
Pathetic.
   15. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:26 AM (#3907494)
I ####### hate Carlos Pena. $10 million for a guy who strikes out seemingly once a game and has never adjusted to the shift? Let someone else overpay him next year.
   16. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:27 AM (#3907496)
I don't mind the strikeouts on the whole. It's the fact that it's a given he will strike out against lefties.

I'm also really tired of Byrd. I love his hustle and he seems like a great guy. But talk about your empty .300 hitter.
   17. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:30 AM (#3907498)
Chipper was kinda lollygagging on that play.
   18. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:31 AM (#3907499)
Okay-that was one of the reasons why Castro should remain a shortstop. What a great play.
   19. These Guys Suck Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:33 AM (#3907505)
Nice AB, Soriano.
   20. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:53 AM (#3907542)
This game was over when Pena and Byrd #### the bed with the bases loaded.
   21. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:57 AM (#3907546)
Pinch run Campy!!
   22. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:59 AM (#3907548)
Colvin never stood a chance.
   23. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:59 AM (#3907549)
This team ####### sucks.
   24. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:59 AM (#3907551)
Carlos Pena left seven men on base tonight.
   25. SteveM. Posted: August 24, 2011 at 02:59 AM (#3907552)
And for the record-the Braves bullpen is awesome.
