if you want to be really mindfucked, look up brian schneider's gamelog. the team is 25-3 when he starts a game at catcher this year, and they haven't lost a game he's started since may 6, going 18-0 over that span of time. guy has a .522 OPS and he's doing that.


and he's not catching the aces, either. over these 18 starts, he's only caught lee once, and he hasn't caught hamels or halladay at all.

the phillies called up pete orr today. this makes me way too happy relative to the likely impact the move will actually have.


now we just need de fratus, aumont, bush, brown, and moss. and maybe galvis.
