The Cubs are actually 35-51. You know things are bad when the Primer Chimp has to turn away.

The Washington TV crew are complete idiots. I hate not being able to get Len and Bob for this series.

Ramon Ortiz? He hasn't been effective in 7 years, and wasn't that effective even at that point. Why is he still playing? Is he really the best the Cubs can do? If he is, then the Cubs are pretty screwed.

Indeed. I'm no longer feeling the same sense of optimism I felt when they stuck Doug Freaking Davis in the rotation.

I'd have to pay for that-$30 a month for Extra Innings is enough for me. And no, I can't think of a worse rotation. This team's likeability is comparable to the Vince Coleman era Mets.
