Blanton thinks he'll be able to pitch in relief come September sometime. Not much help on the farm for a spot start though. Could see a couple Herndon, Stutes, Schwimmer reliever-rama starts.
if they need a spot starter, their best option is probably dave bush, though hyatt could also be an option.
this is really not ideal, though.
