Also, that they should never acquire Carlos Marmol.
And they better never build a tribute to Carlos the Jackal at Citifield, either.
Because a lot of balls would go down the right field line if they don't play anyone at first base until Ike comes back? Not to mention needing someone to hold runners on . . . .
Seeing if the first two can play those positions is important.
Reds broadcasts are on my personal blackout list. Along with Arizona and the White Sox.
And as I type that, a leadoff double!
After the way Duda misplayed Jay Bruce's "triple" earlier, and what we've seen of him previously, I'm not optimistic.
But how about Pelfrey? Just now getting to 100 pitches. Impressive.
Today was an interesting day. I hope in a few years to say it was a good one. But for now, I miss Beltran.
