Man, can Castro be frustrating on defense.

I like the intention on Castro's part since he makes second if he doesn't over-slide the base. Still a frustrating miscue.

I don't mind the aggressive baserunning-its the little things of his defense that can drive you up a wall. Makes you wonder if he will stick long term at SS.

I like Geo. He hits homeruns for the Cubs.

You have to wonder why the Cubs are wasting time with Lopez when Casey Coleman is at AAA. I mean, what is the upside in running him out there every 5 days?

Castro has looked like Soriano any time he bats with the bases loaded this season.

Lopez obviously isn't in the future plans of the team, but is Coleman? I've always gotten the sense that he's rotation filler that you never hear from again after a season or two.

To me Walks, that is the thing. Run out there for the last two months and let him sink or swim.

Wait, why didn't Quade pinch hit for BPJ if he was going to yank him so quickly this inning? Seems silly to concede an out with a runner on second so you can send up a relief pitcher that you're going to have a short leash the next inning.

They really need to end this guest conductor for the 7th inning stretch. It's so painful more times than not.

I actually liked the Santo family doing it. I have no clue why Quade didn't doubleswitch when he put in BPJ.

I don't give a #### about sabermeterics-Campy is just fun to watch out there.

I came back to post the same thing. You can tell he's becoming quite the fan favorite, too.

Frankly, I think there is a lot of value in having your 25th guy with speed like his. At the very least, he is Soriano's defensive replacement in the late innings.

This was the good Marmol-his stuff was filthy tonight.

Man, Desmond look PISSED after he struck out.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with Campana in his current role. He appears to be a very good defender and baserunner. There's nothing wrong with having one of those guy on the team, but until he starts walking, he shouldn't rise above bunter/defender/baserunner. Now you can't have a bench of strictly specialists, but if you have guys who can hit in the other spots, there's no reason to not have Campana on the roster for the league minimum.
