Reyes opens with a bunt single in the bottom of the first, and then left the game. He finishes 181/537, .337057.

If Braun goes 2-for-2, that would not be good enough. Braun would finish .33689. So that means Braun would have to get at least three hits to win the batting title. Three hits in four at bats would do it (.33747).

We shall see if that is Jose's last contribution ever as a Met . . . .

I'm loving Ralph (Kiner I believe) in the booth. Alot of old time baseball lore. Ruth held Miller Huggins over the side of a train by the ankles. Awesome.

Ending the season with a Miguel Batista 2-hit complete game shutout? That's weird, but then again that's your 2011 Mets.
