The send just doesn't make sense this early. It wasn't like the pitcher was due up. I can understand a send in that case. But you have Barney due up, who's been excellent in those situations.

I'm just not a fan of DeJesus. The Cubs seem to have multiple runners thrown out at home every week.

He hasn't been bad so far, but that's mostly because there hasn't been a tremendous amount of action through the early portions of this game.
