It won't be long before teams stop running on Reddick. Holy Toledo!

Derek Norris!

I think since I'm going to be alone in this game thread I should use the space to unburden myself of a lifetime of guilt by confessing my sins.

I used to steal Hot Wheels and Star Wars figures from K-Mart.

I've--accidently--broken the legs of two people in my life. The first in a bicycle accident when I was 6 and another in a tree-fort building accident when I was eight. I have really bad karma when it comes to leg breaks. I just go through life wincing, waiting for the hammer to drop.

What else? I tell people I'm open to voting Republican since I'm a registered Independent but I never will.

I have purchased at one time an MC Hammer and Huey Lewis and the news CD. It wasn't even a good Huey Lewis CD--it was the one that came out in 1991 when they were so, so uncool. I think I bought it the same time I bought Nevermind, actually. I probably should be shot.

That's about it. God, I am boring!

This Travis Blackley has a nice beard. I should grow a beard.

Moneyball discussion! I've got the Blue Jay feed so it was inevitable.

Cespedes really struggles with offspeed stuff on the outside of the plate. I hope he learns to go with those pitches.

Blackley looks like a perfectly cromulent ML pitcher. His travelogue is something else, though, including a stop in Melbourne in the Australian baseball league. How does a guy like this finally get his foot in the door in the majors and just sort of get it all of a sudden? Baseball is nuts.

Reddick bunts to beat the Blue Jay shift. That's how you do it.

Cecil with 8 Ks is a little surprising.

Glad to see Snider homered. Hope he is done with the minors for good.

Knowing Pat and Buck, I suspect their interpretation of Moneyball is less than flattering.

As soon as my wife is done with the DVR I can catch the rest of the game.

Actually...no. They were complimentary of Billy and feared Moneyball may have pigeonholed him and that was it.

Blackley is dealing tonight. He's got just enough bite on his fastball to be effective. I think the A's have lucked into a solid pitcher here.

Ha! Chad Beck does the Rod Beck hanging arm thing. I wonder if it's an homage?

You cannot stop the likes of Derek Norris and Jemile Weeks.

Oh boy. Looks like I tuned in at just the wrong time. A trade for Josh Johnson would go a long way in getting my spirits up. After all, once you trade for Happ, you can't give him back

This is no fun. Wonder what else is on the DVR

Hurray! A nice and easy one after those pressure cookers against the Yanks,

TWO nice & easy ones, at least as of the third inning.
Seriously, who ARE these guys?
