OK, we should be 21-13, but that's ok. I'd love to take both of these games, but I'll accept at least one.

Ugh. Rarely do I have to mute these guys, but they are on super annoying high horse about Braun.

Is Howie Rose the new Ralph Kiner? He just called Carlos Gomez "Carlos Gonzalez" and Prince Fielder "Cecil Fielder".

Batista is giving me a headache already.
   5. AJM Posted: May 14, 2012 at 07:36 PM (#4131385)
Gary called that hit.
   6. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 07:38 PM (#4131387)
Gary doesn't need a bigger head today. ;-) But yes, he did.
   7. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 07:39 PM (#4131389)
Oh Ike. You're lost.
   8. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 07:44 PM (#4131392)
Duda was running the damned wrong way when the ball came.
   9. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 07:57 PM (#4131401)
The sac bunt is a stupid idea too often.
   10. Elvis Posted: May 14, 2012 at 08:43 PM (#4131437)
There was no Don Money Seattle Pilots card, Ron. Money was on the Phillies thru 1972.

I've been mostly watching hockey instead of the Mets tonight, but I know Batista is pitching, and yet SNY says the score is 1-0 Mets. Am I correct in assuming that the SNY box works like a car odomoter and the Brewers have recently rolled over from 99 to 0?
   12. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 08:49 PM (#4131446)
No, the Brewers just suck.
   13. Why Bloody Valdespin? Posted: May 14, 2012 at 09:10 PM (#4131460)
Nice bunt. I guess Cedeno has a skill.

Keith Hernandez HATES Aramis.

Those ball transfers are tricky.
   16. Yonder Alonso in misguided trousers (cardinal) Posted: May 14, 2012 at 09:49 PM (#4131509)
I don't think I've ever seen that happen in a rundown. Baseball is weird.
   17. Why Bloody Valdespin? Posted: May 14, 2012 at 09:49 PM (#4131510)
Yeah, Lassus, I don't get it.
   18. AJM Posted: May 14, 2012 at 09:50 PM (#4131512)
That was some quality rundown execution.
   19. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 10:03 PM (#4131538)
One more batter, then done, Collins.
   20. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 10:03 PM (#4131540)
Well, I meant one more non-out batter.
   21. Why Bloody Valdespin? Posted: May 14, 2012 at 10:03 PM (#4131541)
That 3-2 pitch was a strike. If I'm Collins, I take Francisco out now. I'm a Francisco defender, but he didn't exactly respond well to being squeezed yesterday. I wouldn't give him a chance to melt down again.
   22. Why Bloody Valdespin? Posted: May 14, 2012 at 10:05 PM (#4131545)
I take it back.
   23. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 10:05 PM (#4131547)
I love Keith's incredulity at other baseball players.
   24. Lassus Posted: May 14, 2012 at 10:07 PM (#4131551)
Holy crap that save was just as bad as the ones he blew.
   25. Why Bloody Valdespin? Posted: May 14, 2012 at 10:08 PM (#4131554)
Good win. Always nice to get a victory in the pitching matchups you have no business winning.
