Let's win today boys and lower that magic number another notch!

Harper manufactures another run with his hyper-aggressive baserunning.

Zimm is getting hit too hard for my liking.

Or maybe that should be 'comfort' rather than 'liking'.

Not so much twice in one game as twice in one 'inning' (which opened with one bunt being called out for hitting the bat and ended with one bunt being called out for hitting the batter).

The Z-mann is hitting better than he's pitching today!

The sun shines bright for the Nationals this inning!

Good to see you in the chatter again fra paolo! I don't know if you got a chance to see it, but over the weekend (the Saturday game I think) one section must have had about ten guys sitting next to each other all in Expos caps and jerseys. It was pretty cool.

No, I have been listening to the GameDay Audio archive until today for this series, and I don't remember hearing them mentioned. One day that might be me. I should have gone in June, when I spent my day at the National Archives/art museum.

I only Game Chat when I watch/listen to a game live, as opposed to archive games. And I'm only here until 3pm today.

I must say, F P Santangelo is a big improvement on The Dibble.

I've actually gotten to talk to F.P. after a couple of games and he seems like a really cool guy.

This is what I like to see

I assume that Clippard being brought into a 9-1 game means that he's officially no longer the closer. It's not as though he needs the work or anything, considering that the team has been beating on him like a rented mule for two seasons now!

And that's a wraparound Curly W in the books! And our magic numbers are now down to 9 for the league, and just 5 for the division!!!
