1. Latnam's first name is Bob Lemon's middle name Posted: September 03, 2005 at 03:31 PM (#1595233)Hope the Sosa magic doesn't wane out. Given our luck, the dips gods will exact their revenge in the playoffs.
Not going to stick around for this game. Gonna go to the deck to celebrate the GA beatdown.
Ramirez still sucks.
"I get a little surprised by the level of love this board has for him (Marcus Giles) sometimes."
Time to stop wasting starts on him. Let Lerew or Davies have his spot in the rotation.
BravesCenter used to be the Braves' board on Fanhome. Before that it used to be the Braves' board on Baseballboards.com.
I headed over there from the CNNSI boards after the 2000 season, and the place was a revelation. My first pro-longed exposure to sabrmetrics.
When Scout took over at the end of the 2002 season, I wrote for BravesCenter until mid-04.
It's free to post on the board, but most of the stuff on the site is subscriber only. Not that I'm in any hurry to read Shanks' stuff.
Marcus really does want to win this game, doesn't he?
Nifty.
Use him once or twice a week for the rest of the season, to let him rebound but not lose all his control. Then work him hard in the playoffs.
Oh huzzah.
HUZZAH!
Says the person who, two posts earlier, compared Julio to Brian Jordan. If that's not an insult, I don't know what is.
It's all up to the Infruriatingly Popular Marcus Giles.
OK, Adam, prove me wrong.
Screw it: Julio for permanent first baseman.
Anyone?
Capellan may never amount to anything, but I'd rather still have him than have useless Dan Kolb.
