I don't know what's more annoying walking DeWayne Wise or giving up multiple hits to Scott Podsednik.
   2. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 09:09 PM (#3235317)
I'm amused Pods was in such disbelief the ump called him out. Not because he disputed his foot coming off the bag, but because it was "only this much."

Soriano really sucks, by the way.
   3. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 09:35 PM (#3235333)
Nice to get the lead, but you had to want at least two in that situation.
   4. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 09:41 PM (#3235338)
Podsednik? Really?
   5. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 09:52 PM (#3235350)
Well, the pen was going to be used sparingly until this laborious inning. Way to go, Dempster.
   6. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 09:53 PM (#3235352)
Dempster sucks.
   7. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:14 PM (#3235372)
Good idea to send Dempster back out after he breezed through the last inning.
   8. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:16 PM (#3235375)
Heilman isn't much of an upgrade from a worn-down Dempster.
   9. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:31 PM (#3235393)
Cubs pen with bad Marmol, no Guzman, and Marshall as a LOOGY spells hard times.
   10. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:39 PM (#3235409)
Lou's going to have to start trusting Kevin Hart.
   11. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:43 PM (#3235416)
That was nice.
   12. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:44 PM (#3235419)
I can't be alone in being a little disturbed by the Asian guys in the KFC commerical. Were the headbands really necessary?
   13. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:52 PM (#3235427)
That was a nice recovery after two pitiful bunt attempts. Gotta plate this run.
   14. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:55 PM (#3235434)
Good call Farney.
   15. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 10:57 PM (#3235436)
Now that's some great baserunning. Could've been a terrible outcome, but as it is, it's just some alert, press-the-issue style of baseball.
   16. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:05 PM (#3235444)
Bradley chokes again. This guy has left guys on base almost every time up today. Seven runs won't win this game the way it's played out today.
   17. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:06 PM (#3235446)
Hoping for Ascanio here.
   18. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:07 PM (#3235449)
Oh ####.
   19. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:10 PM (#3235452)
THROW A ####### STRIKE IT'S DEWAYNE WISE AND HE'S BUNTING ON TOP OF IT
   20. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:12 PM (#3235453)
I hope whatever team gave up 5 hits to Jerry Owens was contracted.
   21. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:16 PM (#3235456)
Bull ####.
   22. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:19 PM (#3235460)
Tough to blame Marmol there. That was a bloop hit and then Theriot should have had that.
   23. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:19 PM (#3235461)
Cubs get Jenks in the ninth.
   24. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:22 PM (#3235465)
Yeah that sucks that Marmol actually pitched well there and gives up a run.
   25. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:24 PM (#3235467)
Bobby Jenks is a fat piece of ####.
   26. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:24 PM (#3235469)
Fox has been bothersomely human today.
   27. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:26 PM (#3235472)
I feel like we've taken a lot of strikes down the middle the past few innings.
   28. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:28 PM (#3235474)
I'm getting that feeling you get when you realize you wasted an afternoon to watch a tough loss.
   29. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:31 PM (#3235477)
Whew.
   30. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:37 PM (#3235480)
I think I woulda stuck with Marshall.
   31. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:41 PM (#3235482)
Felt much better facing Nix than Beckham.
   32. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:41 PM (#3235483)
Well ####.
   33. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:42 PM (#3235484)
Certainly didn't see that coming. This pen can only hold things down when its well behind.
   34. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:43 PM (#3235486)
It's a shame that they lose a game where they finally got a lot of big hits with RISP. You can expect this result, though, when your pen has to pitch half the game.
   35. SouthSideRyan Posted: June 27, 2009 at 11:50 PM (#3235489)
11 walk off losses? That sounds outrageous.
