This team sucks.

No reason Soriano shouldn't be on second with that gapper.

No Steve, that's not what attacking the strawman means. Geez, I suppose merely being around Hawk Harrelson makes you dumb.

Thank god I've got the WGN feed. What's with Ramirez tearing up Cubs pitching? He's not that good.

Bradley is a ####### embarrassment.
   6. Andere Richtingen Posted: June 28, 2009 at 07:52 PM (#3235902)
I really dislike Bradley as a player. You knew nothing was going to happen after he made a fool of himself on that called strike two.
   7. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 28, 2009 at 07:56 PM (#3235906)
I don't know what else to say. The Cubs have can't-miss scoring chances then don't score. And then they have bad breaks like THAT. #### FUCK ####
   8. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 28, 2009 at 07:56 PM (#3235908)
At this rate, Bradley is going to make $500,000 for every run he bats in this year.
   9. Andere Richtingen Posted: June 28, 2009 at 08:05 PM (#3235917)
I can't listen anymore to this. It's bad enough to see the Cubs crapping their collective pants, but hearing Stone gloat over it is unbearable. Sound off.

Amazing how my opinion of Stone has deteriorated to pure contempt over the last few years.
   10. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 28, 2009 at 08:06 PM (#3235918)
It wouldn't be a true Cubs loss if there wasn't at least one run scored in humiliating fashion. God damn this ####### team of scrubs. That's it for me for today.
   11. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 28, 2009 at 08:06 PM (#3235920)
Stoney was once a sarcastic, yet informative guy. Seems like ever since he left the Cubs, he's degenerated into a bitter, cynical #######.

So there's been a steal of home and and infield-fly-rule SF this inning? Do I read that correctly?
   13. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 28, 2009 at 08:15 PM (#3235926)
Someone just texted me that the Sox scored on an infield fly rule. HOW?
   14. Andere Richtingen Posted: June 28, 2009 at 08:18 PM (#3235928)
They called IFR, which was pretty questionable, and the runner scored. I suppose he tagged up.

Getz broke for home on a suicide squeeze and Zambrano threw it away.

Infield fly rule was called with the bases loaded, but Theriot couldn't make the catch. Wise was running as soon as he saw that Theriot couldn't handle it, and scored. E-6.
   16. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 28, 2009 at 08:40 PM (#3235950)
Sounds like more great fundamentals from one of the most limited shortstops currently in baseball. Brenley was giving Theriot hell for always being so far in front of second base on attempted steals.
   17. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: June 28, 2009 at 08:43 PM (#3235955)
The "funny" thing about this is the Cubs don't look like they're going to lose any ground to the Brewers or Cards.

Thank god interleague play is over (sans the one makeup game).

But ####, this team needs to get it together if it wants to win the lousy central. Losing is one thing, but they've done it in embarrassing fashion this week.
