Prince Fielder will homer off Clemens. Fear purple rain.

I think that Clemens will not win the award but he will have sexual intercourse with Carpenter. What odds is Vegas giving on that scenario?

Interesting lineup by Garner tonight:

Biggio
Burke
Vizcaino
Berkman
Lane
Bruntlett
Everett
Ausmus

Hmmm..5 middle IF in the lineup...that's not good. HOU certainly isn't trying to help Clemens with the W's in pursuit of a Cy Young. The weirdest part of the whole lineup is that it's something you might expect on a Sunday after a night game in the middle of a 14 game stretch w/o a day off. But nope, they had yesterday off.

This game will end 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1. There are no other options.

Hmm...Burke has a Red Cross sticker on his helmet. I can't imagine that's allowed.

I'd like to know how often the Astros have had 1st and 3rd with one out for Clemens and then managed to not hit into a double play. I don't think it's happened yet this season.

A few weeks somebody complained that Clemens was being "handed" the Cy Young because he "didn't have to face anybody". Highlighting the fact that he faced Milwaukee twice if not three times.

Last I check the Crew beat Roger with five runs last time they faced and this evening hasn't been a walk in the park.

Wonder what that individual is thinking now?

First Brewer game I've watched in well over a week (just flipped it on about 10 minutes ago.

Clemens with four walks before three innings is over, and the HOU bullpen scrambling.

I like the patience from MIL.

Weeks just made sure it was at least five runs again tonight, too.

I am sure the super intelligent response will be "fluke".

NTNgod:

If anyone asks about me and the Milwaukee meetup just pass along that my wife is ill. I didn't want to post it in the thread because I really don't want to talk about it and reading a slew of "hang in there" and "good luck" which would make it worse. For me anyway.

Anyway, just pass it along and leave it at that.

Thanks.

Clemens' ERA is higher than Pedro's 2000 season now. I'm just saying.

Clemens through 3 IP:

81 pitches, 5 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 HR, 2 SO, 5 BB

Beautiful.

If anyone asks about me and the Milwaukee meetup just pass along that my wife is ill.

Will do. Best wishes.

Clemens is done already.

Pinch-hit for by Bagwell.

I can't say Turnbow reaching 30 saves was something I foresaw coming out of spring training.

70-71 now.

It was certainly interesting how Clemens fared against the Brewers in some spots... that said, the Brewers were a good team in 2005. I kinda like 'em. More than I like most teams in the NL Central that aren't the Astros, at least. So... I look forward to more years like 2005 for both teams, let's just say!
