Heyu wok, in Australia now. Every single game from premier league in on TV now.

When there are 5 games on Saturday's there is a viewers choice option. Do you guys have that???

It is sweet

My god, I love fukking charities and all, but that is annoying.

Hmmm... Tito will leave him in until the 5th is over or the lead is lost--it's just his "5th inning, pitcher in trouble" MO
   216. IronChef Chris Wok Posted: August 17, 2007 at 06:56 PM (#2489216)

Better singles than Walks.

Ah, the pitcher's friend

Lucky lucky!
   221. Biff, highly-regarded young guy Posted: August 17, 2007 at 06:57 PM (#2489225)
I missed that inning, looks like Buchholz got singled to death. How many of them were legitimate hits and how many were bad luck>
   222. Textbook Editor Posted: August 17, 2007 at 06:58 PM (#2489226)
I'd try him for the 6th. What the heck. Is he on a pitch count?

Bootcheck is just a great name.
   223. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 17, 2007 at 06:58 PM (#2489228)

Walks are like Lee Bowyer. Scum that keeps hanging around

I'm not exactly sure what he did wrong there, but sure.
   230. IronChef Chris Wok Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:05 PM (#2489241)
Why can't we make productive outs as opposed to the even shittier outs?
   231. Biff, highly-regarded young guy Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:07 PM (#2489245)
Nice swing Cora. I thought you were supposed to be smart or something?
   232. IronChef Chris Wok Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:11 PM (#2489252)
Need more runs dammit, 4 runs is Gagne screwup range.
   233. Biff, highly-regarded young guy Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:13 PM (#2489253)
Dammit, stop giving up hits.

   236. IronChef Chris Wok Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:14 PM (#2489259)
Francona you knob warm up the pen.
   237. Weekly Journalist_ Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:14 PM (#2489260)

He was going for a hit.
   242. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:17 PM (#2489267)
That last pitch to get Willits was awesome
   243. John DiFool2 Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:17 PM (#2489269)
Nice final pitch, if that is what it was.
   244. IronChef Chris Wok Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:19 PM (#2489273)
I'd go with Manny D - Okajima - Papelbon combo for this game, and hopefully Beckett can go deep later tonight.
   245. Biff, highly-regarded young guy Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:21 PM (#2489278)
Sorry NESN, I still hate guests in the booth, even when they are hot.
   246. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:21 PM (#2489280)
Is that the girl from True Lies?

Off to see immd...
   247. Weekly Journalist_ Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:22 PM (#2489285)
6 ip, 8 h, 3 bb, 5 k, 4 r, 3 er, 91 pitches

All in all a very successful outing. He had some bad luck and some good luck, but for the most part he looked good.
   248. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:22 PM (#2489287)
What would be worse??

The Yankees finding a way to win the East or the Cards tripping over themsleves and everyone else to win the central???
   249. Schilling's Sprained Ankiel Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:22 PM (#2489288)
I don't care about your cancer anymore. Shut up and show the game.

I didn't know there was one.

The more we complain this year, the worse NESN are getting.

Tonight will be worse...
   251. John DiFool2 Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:24 PM (#2489296)
She is still hot as hell.
   252. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:25 PM (#2489300)
If my kids ask me one day for a Remy or Orsillo bobble doll, I'll throw them out the window.
   253. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:26 PM (#2489308)
She annoyed the hell out me in True Lies, so I never noticed how hot she was till today.

Those tv shows she is in, I have never seen
   254. Textbook Editor Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:28 PM (#2489314)
This all points to Gagne for the 8th, I'm afraid... and I don't like it. Aren't the Angels one of the teams that cuffed him around the last week or so he was in Texas?
   255. Joe Bivens, Minor Genius Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:28 PM (#2489315)

I guess now everyone really hates Remy
   257. IronChef Chris Wok Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:29 PM (#2489320)
Kristen bell is still hotter, but dayum.

He was very shaky in the lone game we won in Anaheim.

Don't open it, either, Phil.

Depends if they look like Eliza Dushku or not...

She was in deadwood as well.

She doesn't die in a god way there...

This is really hard.
   271. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:47 PM (#2489375)
Can't fall 3-1 here...
   272. Textbook Editor Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:47 PM (#2489376)
Hmmm... I think Gagne's going to get the call to close this one, assuming Okajima can get out of the 8th. Just a hunch.
   273. Textbook Editor Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:48 PM (#2489377)
Gameday has Drew leaping into the bullpen (or thereabouts) to make the catch. Was it that dramatic?

   275. IronChef Chris Wok Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:51 PM (#2489387)
FRAK another guy lost 0-2.

The end is near.

I'm trying!

Don't worry, it's just a chance for Papelbon to pad his saves total now! /optimistic
   284. Joe Bivens, Minor Genius Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:54 PM (#2489398)
He lost Kotchman 2-2, not 0-2. Jesus. You bunch of bed wetters.

you can't blame OKAJIMA for Baltimore.
   287. Joe Bivens, Minor Genius Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:55 PM (#2489403)
4 out save, coming right up. The Angels bench is weak, WJ. One guy has 5 HR's, the rest, none.

Maicer Izturis oh god (he hit like 5 3 run dingers last week)
   291. Dan Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:57 PM (#2489411)
Or using Papelbon AT ALL, such as when the games were tied.
   292. Joe Bivens, Minor Genius Posted: August 17, 2007 at 07:58 PM (#2489412)
Really, Wok? He has 5 HR's all year.

Phil, it's directed at anyone who's pissing themselves over this game.

I was getting antsy but not losing it. The tying run was at the plate and that is concern for some worry, right??
   294. Textbook Editor Posted: August 17, 2007 at 08:00 PM (#2489418)
OK, so Gagne closes Game #2, then. No way Papelbon pitches both ends of the doubleheader. MDC to Gagne is probably how they'd like Game 2 to go if Beckett gets through 7.
