Mets are second in OBP, but 9th in runs. That's what shitting the bed with the bases loaded will do for you.

Did Burkhardt call Santana "Yo"?

We Mets fans have been through this enough times to know there's nothing to be gained by omitting to mention that our starter has held the opposition hitless thus far, no?

Sorry.

I love Kirk!

Nieuwenhuis!!!!!1!1!

I'm not sure why Mills let Norris pitch to him.

I don't know why he let him face Duda.

Oh great, Acosta.

AJM @2-- you did not imagine that. I can only assume he meant it as short for Johan, but still, it was an odd moment.

Mills is overcompensating big-time for leaving Norris in so long.

Mills must've just realized he had a bullpen.

Hairston just missed that one.

I would kill to have Lowrie back instead of Punto as the backup IFer...
   14. Dan Posted: April 30, 2012 at 10:46 PM (#4120385)
What the hell is Cohen talking about? Lowrie is decidedly NOT a better left-handed hitter than right. His splits are something like .800 OPS RHH career vs .600 as a LHH. Maybe look at some numbers beyond this season's small sample?
   15. Dan Posted: April 30, 2012 at 10:49 PM (#4120388)
Lowrie has a .898 career OPS as a RHH vs .654 as a LHH. Is that really so hard to look up for a professional announcer?
   16. AJMcCringleberry Posted: April 30, 2012 at 10:53 PM (#4120390)
Against Manny Acosta everyone has a .900 OPS.
