Way to silently get out of it, Niese.
Because I had to mute my television.
Nice walk, Torres.
Manuel knew it, too. He was only out there for appearances, I think.
I ####### hate the sac bunt there, so, so stupid. Take the bat out of your best player's hands. Why?
I have a severe distrust of those plays, and lifting and turning one's shoulder does not help you knock the ball out. I just don't see it that way. I mean, I'm not saying that it isn't what many, many players do, but I don't think there's no thought process that goes into it.
I've gotten a bit weary of Turner.
Sadly, Ike is not that fast.
#######, Ike is slow. I admit I didn't think of it until after the fact, but someone should be running for Ike there.
That's what I thought but really I think
Holy crap.
ANYHOW, I really don't think running for Ike is a good idea there. I think giving up your big bats like that when tied (as opposed to down, or something) just is a bad idea.
Please stop talking about Omir Santos, Gary.
OK, reading that was a real, true, LOL moment.
I'm still not sorry I mocked Nickeas relentlessly this offseason.
Was on the phone with the wife during the ninth inning, and tried to explain how improbable the sequence of events was, and the stars that had to align for it to happen (Tejada and Thole injuries). Was met by the telephonic equivalent of the blank stare.
