This is getting ridiculous now. Through 6 innings Dickey is on the way to his third one-hitter in four games. Ridiculous! (And all three games currently going on have a 5-0 score).

Apparently the hit was a flyball that should have absolutely been caught. In addition, the HBP was payback for Tejada getting hit. Dickey is just killing it right now.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why the chatter has died this year.


I am guilty as anybody. It's too bad because this is a pretty fun team.

Regarding the first hit, in my opinion it was not a "should have been caught." Torres laid up on it, but it would have taken a strong effort to make the catch. I think the Wright hit/error from the Devil Rays game was a more obviously makeable play.
