1. Dan Posted: June 08, 2012 at 07:11 PM (#4152009)Wow, Harper really is starting to look comfortable in CF. He was pretty bad in his first few games out there, but lately he's looked great.
There is 0 reason he shouldn't. He's fast, gets good jumps, and has a cannon of an arm. I didn't understand why they didn't just put him in CF from the moment they called him up.
It would be a surprise if the Nats didn't with Gio facing Matsuzaka tomorrow.
CALLED IT!
Yeah, not so much anymore.
Harper's OPS against righties coming into today: .809. Against lefties? How about .998!
Harper's ability against LHP is pretty ####### impressive. Not many rookie left-handed hitters are good against southpaws, nevermind guys who are 19 years old. Harper can't possibly have faced much left-handed pitching in his life at that age.
Strasburg's 11 Ks are most by a visiting pitcher at Fenway since Javier Vazquez had 11 on 9/5/06.
For some reason I can't edit my posts.
That pitch was actually not as bad of a call as it looked live, with the replay on NESN. Flores just caught it going down and made it look lower than it was, I think.
Definitely.

Get well, everybody.
(He's may be back - he's looked good for the last week or so)
