I'm watching the Rays-Marlins and Nats-Sox games at the moment. I considered Yankees-Mets as my secondary, but for now it's the Florida series.

Wow, Harper really is starting to look comfortable in CF. He was pretty bad in his first few games out there, but lately he's looked great.

Harper isn't going to get fooled by the curve in this AB like he did in the first inning. His ability to make adjustments in his 2nd AB vs a pitcher is usually very good.

There is 0 reason he shouldn't. He's fast, gets good jumps, and has a cannon of an arm. I didn't understand why they didn't just put him in CF from the moment they called him up.

Almost certainly Strasburg's last inning, yeah. They're still being really careful with him.

Harper's ability against LHP is pretty ####### impressive. Not many rookie left-handed hitters are good against southpaws, nevermind guys who are 19 years old. Harper can't possibly have faced much left-handed pitching in his life at that age.

Hellickson gave up 5 hits and 7 walks in 4.1 innings, but only 1 run against the Marlins. That's pretty unique.

Zimmerman seems to be finally getting his power stroke going.

That pitch was actually not as bad of a call as it looked live, with the replay on NESN. Flores just caught it going down and made it look lower than it was, I think.

MLB Gameday shows Stras's last strike as well within the zone. On the edge, yes, but not even particularly marginally so. It was Flores' framing that made it look worse than it was.
