Somehow the MASN2 broadcast has the base paths, mound & players tinted blue. Was OK until 5 minutes ago. Other games seem OK, so I don't think it's the TV. Weird.

Well, as I was writing this Ryan Zimmerman just hit a monster shot to dead center field. Good to see him hitting as well!

MASN seems to have corrected the Smurf-vision problem while I was away.

What a difference a day makes, going from the unhittable kid Fier to Randy Wolf. I'd like to thank the Brewers for that.

Word is that, with Greinke's departure, there's a chance the Nats may send Gio to the mound tomorrow against...Livan Hernandez! Make it so, Ron Roenicke!

It's funny -- my impression of this game is that Jordan Zimmermann has struggled a bit, but so far his line actually is pretty good: 6K, 1BB, 1R, and a ton of swinging strikes.

Of course now that I've written this, he's going to get lit up like the 2012 San Diego fireworks display, just like Detwiler last night.

Would be wonderful to see Zimmermann get through 7 tonight given last night's debacle. I hope Davey doesn't pinch-hit for him.

Oh well.
