It would probably be good for Harper to spend a month in AAA, with Bernardina playing ok. I doubt it will happen though.

On the one hand, Jordan Zimmermann was absolutely cruising (he could've ended the night with a CG or 14Ks or whereabouts), with only 87 pitches, so why remove him? On the other hand, if Strasburg is really going to get shut down, playing safe with the team's True Ace isn't a bad idea, I guess.

Here's the thing about Kurt Suzuki: he's been playing the entire season with a busted hand. It isn't going to heal until the offseason. He's never going to be an offensive powerhouse, but it's unfair to judge his hitting in full until next year. Which of course doesn't do #### to help us now, but it deserved to be pointed out.
