I only hope that I can somehow watch this game tonight without living in sheer, abject terror of the horrible possibilities potentially underlying every Inverted W, every oddly contorted rotator cuff, every stretched-out tendon, and every strained ligament.

It sure is frustrating watching one of the most talented pitchers in baseball pitching like this. His head isn't even the damn game, and it's like a totally different guy from a week ago.

They had better snap out of this before the Cardinals come in, or else full-fledged panic is going to start and every mope in the city is going to start up with the "I told you so"s and the "I knew they were going to fall to pieces" stuff.
