If Esoteric is around, I just want to say that you were right about the Nationals offense being significantly better than the Met offense. About a month or two ago, the Met offense had been slighly better at that point and I said that I didn't expect the National offense to end up being significantly better.

Ryan is amazing. He's one of the best throwers in baseball when he has no time to think about the throw, and one of the worst when he does . It HAS to be a psychological issue.

Somewhat surprising that this is the ONLY active BBTF chatter tonight, given the Various pennant and wildcard scenarios. Perhaps the excitement has rendered everyone speechless.

Second time this franchise has been 35 games over .500; the first time since the '94 Expos were 74-39 on the second to last day of that season. 36 has never been reached.

Magic numbers are now 17 for the league, 12 for the division, and just 6 for the wild card. And some of those numbers will be going down shortly.
