Yes, it irritates me to no end (and my wife as well) that Spiezio is getting paid by the Mariners to play for the Cardinals.

I believe thaat his marriage dissolved when he was in Seattle. In any case, he ended up with some wild chick, got her name tatooed on, and all the while could not hit squat for a season and a half.

I thought this was his last Mariner contract year, but now I see that there's a $3.25 million option with a 250K buyout. I hope that they'll pick that up, and save the Mariners the quarter mil.

Yeah, I know what Duncan did this season at the majors. I also know what he did in the minors in 2006 and before that. The Ryan Howard comparison is ridiculous.
