Seriously, if Cairo plays tomorrow...

Carlos is going to do something good here.

Carlos with a RISP hit.

Well... wow.

No chance. Willie no matter how bad you might think he manages is not an idiot. The Mets have to improve their lineup, even Willie knows that, - even if he's unwilling to move a real hitter to the second spot.

I called it. But was it a grounder or line drive, for those of us television-less.

D-Wright!

Beltran's hit was a solid line drive. And, I would caution against trying to put a limit on the whimsies of Willie's lineup construction or bullpen usage.

I'm sure Wright lined it hard into where ever he hit the ball, Beltran? Anyone?

Normal clean single into left field.

I've been a big Willie apologist, if only because Art was, to me, that bad. The only question with Willie is whether he learns before it's too late or right before. I am really really hoping it's the latter.

Thanks, Beltran is hitting the ball better, although still inconsistently. But he's demonstrating that he can sting the ball, which is a good sign.

I agree completely with this, by the way, but I'm just saying that Cairo in the lineup tomorow is certainly not out of the question, sadly.

Going with the 80% thing, I have faith in Looper.
   213. villainx Posted: September 04, 2005 at 07:57 PM (#1597136)
Also since it's the bottom third of the lineup, I have faith in Looper.

Yay Mets!

Phils lost, Houston still down 3-1 in the 8th.

Yay Mets.

OK, putting Hernandez in a no pressure situation and Takatsu yesterday night is mind boggling.

True enough, but today was a well played game.

I want to be the Scott Kazmir of the Met Chatter. Just kidding.

Hey, good deal. We're still 2.5 out.
