The turkey underwear allows Frenchy to go 1-4 tonight with 2Ks, a pop up, and slap single to left. And then Bobby Cox will sign the underpants to a contact extension.

1. Blanco, CF
2. Prado, 2B
3. Chipper
4. McCann
5. Anderson
6. Kotchman
7. Francoeur
8. Hernandez, SS
9. Lowe

Escobar pulled himself with the hip flexor. Cox pulled McLouth with the hammy.

I hope this isn't Escobar sulking because of his de facto benching.

Either way, his tenure as a Braves will not end well.

There's the sinker.

Kotchman is as slow as Anderson is lazy as Francoeur sucks.

Cox is gonna ride Lowe too hard in the 6th or 7th and it'll end up costing the Braves the game.

2 hits for Turkey Pants, so no chance of him sitting this week.
   8. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 12:20 AM (#3238333)
Was there ever a chance to begin with?
   9. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 12:24 AM (#3238336)
Guess who's 2nd among NL catchers in VORP?

Dave ####### Ross. There's gotta be a way to get him into the lineup more.

No, but a boy can dream.

Dave ####### Ross. There's gotta be a way to get him into the lineup more.

Where are you going to put him and McCann? Neither one has ever played even one inning at another position.
   11. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 12:31 AM (#3238342)
Apply for admission to the AL, preferably the Central?

Have Ross start taking groundballs at 1st? Have him play against some lefties?
   12. Dr Love Posted: July 01, 2009 at 12:33 AM (#3238345)
Hell, put him at 2B. He can't be worse than KJ.
   13. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 12:41 AM (#3238350)
Here we go. Predictions? Double Play? Infield fly rule? Strikeout?
   14. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 12:42 AM (#3238351)
It's as if Turkey pants was trying to hit a chopper to 2nd. Like that's the best he can do. Err, nevermind.
   15. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 12:54 AM (#3238356)
Coste has killed the Braves.
   16. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 12:57 AM (#3238359)
Nice work, Lowe.

Bobby, don't even think of running him out there for the 7th.
   17. Barry Gibb Posted: July 01, 2009 at 01:02 AM (#3238364)
That'll do Lowe. I really do hate Francoeur; hopefully this will up his trade value. I don't know who he'd be attractive to except for Dayton, and he might be on his way out.
   18. Dr Love Posted: July 01, 2009 at 01:07 AM (#3238369)
Nice play by O'Flaherty.
   19. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 01:10 AM (#3238373)
The thing I like about EOF is that he throws strikes. Gonzo for Howard/Werth/Dobbs?
   20. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 01:25 AM (#3238397)
WTF are you doing Gonzo? Really? Mayberry and Feliz. ####.
   21. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 01:53 AM (#3238460)
Who the #### is gonna face Utley/Howard next inning? I assume it'll be Logan, but that gives me a bad feeling.
   22. Dr Love Posted: July 01, 2009 at 02:26 AM (#3238509)
4 RBIs by Prado and the GW RBI. Even if he went 1-4 I wouldn't mind seeing him starting for 10 games or so to see if he can unseat KJ.
   23. Ignatius J. Reilly Posted: July 01, 2009 at 02:28 AM (#3238514)
Bravos needed to get this game. Now get two more with JJ and Javy.

Prado's a nice little player and his body of work in the majors is getting to the point where it's non-fluky. It's just a shame that the Braves are gonna sell KJ for 30 cents on the dollar.
