Here at the ballpark for what is hopefully going to be the clincher!

Ugly NL baseball, what with the IBB to the #8 hitter.

Getting that grounder was HUGE right there.

That's how an intentional walk can work for you. What a big play!

Joel Hanrahan, I take back every awful thing I ever said about you. I even want to formally apologize for the time that I cursed you out at that one game.

Now PLEASE just get three outs, I'm begging you.

In an unrelated development, Bryce Harper has just transmogrified into a middle-aged real-estate salesman.

According to what Charlies Slowes was saying on the radio, it seems likely that the Nationals get home field against everyone now.

I'm happy for Charlie Slowes. He was broadcasting for some pretty crappy teams in Tampa Bay and Washington. He's paid his dues, so to speak, and now gets something to celebrate.

Charlie Slowes is, hands down, the most underrated radio man in all of Major League Baseball.

As thrilled as I am about winning the division, I've gotta be honest: I'm a little concerned about the way the team has been playing lately. We have been pretty inconsistent for weeks now. There are no pushovers in the playoffs; if we don't bring a better game, we could easily be out very quickly.
