Lowrie is made of glass and Scutaro can no longer play the position.
   102. Dan Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:48 PM (#4158215)
Made of glass or not, when he's healthy he's very good. They sold him for a reliever. ANd not even a very good one.

Yes, the price was terrible. But the reason for the trade was that he could never be counted on to stay healthy.

This inning is going to be agonizing for someone.

Having him as the starter with Aviles ready to back him up when he gets hurt would've been a perfect situation to leverage his upside though.

2-0 was a gift. Same pitch Dice didn't get on the 1-2 to LaHair in the first.
   107. Dan Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:53 PM (#4158229)
Well when you throw strikes like Marmol does, you get those calls, Chip.
   108. Chip Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:53 PM (#4158231)
BIP ###### again.
   109. Dan Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:54 PM (#4158233)
Thanks for chasing ball 4, idiot.
   110. plink Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:54 PM (#4158234)
Nice play.
   111. Chip Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:55 PM (#4158237)
Dan, with your plan we would never have had the pleasure of seeing Little Nicky Punto on the roster.
   112. SteveM. Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:56 PM (#4158240)
This is so Marmol like.
   113. Dan Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:56 PM (#4158241)
How do you make that play on Salty and then misplay that ball on Aviles?
   114. McCoy Wilfong for Money Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:57 PM (#4158243)
Thank god we brought up Luis Valbuena and his steady glove and good bat to man third.
   115. Chip Posted: June 15, 2012 at 04:58 PM (#4158246)
Hey look, it's Daniel Nava, our only good outfielder!
   116. McCoy Wilfong for Money Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:00 PM (#4158248)
Boom, goes the dynamite.
   117. SteveM. Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:01 PM (#4158250)
Just throw a ####### strike you piece of ####. The sooner the Cubs release him, the better the team will be for the future. Marmol is literally ####.
   118. SteveM. Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:02 PM (#4158251)
Throw a ####### fastball.
   119. McCoy Wilfong for Money Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:02 PM (#4158252)
Why the hell do Theo and Jed keep Marmol on the team and why in the hell does Dale keep using him?
   120. Chip Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:02 PM (#4158254)
This is just setting up the horrible game ending AB by Adrian.
   121. McCoy Wilfong for Money Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:03 PM (#4158256)
For Cubs fans or Sox fans?
   122. SteveM. Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:03 PM (#4158257)
Cubs win. Now go release Marmol.
   123. McCoy Wilfong for Money Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:04 PM (#4158259)
How about that?
   124. Chip Posted: June 15, 2012 at 05:04 PM (#4158260)
Figures.
