Would it kill Bobby to just move everyone up one spilt and have Lillibridge bat ninth?
   2. Dan Posted: July 01, 2012 at 04:37 PM (#4170784)
Lillibridge killed LHP last season. If you believe that's even partially indicative of his ability batting him leadoff is fine.

That was weird, the 2-0 pitch seemed to have been called a strike but then was changed to a ball.

Thats a great play by Saeger but the Sox have to convert there.

I loved how Don and Jerry were already too busy talking about fishing in the SECOND INNING to notice what happened there.

They were quiet for awhile too while someone was absolutely screaming at the ump. You'd think they'd have noticed.

Walking Olivo to lead off an inning should be an automatic hook.

Apparently, it is actually possible to walk Miguel Olivo.

Who cares about holding runners at second with one out?

Pull him he's a mess

Nava should make that play.

Now Middlebrooks is hurt. Good thing they dumped Youkilis!

Navy's defense... Lacking

They may as well lose here rather than lose in extra innings yet again. They're 0-5 in extra inning games this season.

Padilla is afraid to challenge Chone Figgins. Wow.

Glad Kalish scores - thought he had a homer earlier

An extra inning win!

We'll take it.

Can't believe they have to play 57 games in this park this season, vs. only 2 against the Mariners in Fenway.
