Hey, they're actually playing baseball!
   2. Joe Bivens, Minor Genius Posted: July 28, 2012 at 06:26 PM (#4194717)
And they're off to a good start.
   3. Joe Bivens, Minor Genius Posted: July 28, 2012 at 06:36 PM (#4194721)
Stop the internets! Lester gets out of the first with no runs allowed!
   4. Matt Clement of Alexandria Posted: July 28, 2012 at 06:46 PM (#4194728)
Lester's cutter is breaking like the old days.

Called "a 91 mile per hour pitch" by Joe Buck. #### you in the eye, Joe Buck.
   5. Matt Clement of Alexandria Posted: July 28, 2012 at 06:49 PM (#4194731)
Velocity on the fastball looks good, too.
   6. Biff, highly-regarded young guy Posted: July 28, 2012 at 07:03 PM (#4194736)
Seriously, Lester? Chris Stewart?
   7. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 07:04 PM (#4194737)
Chris ####### Stewart?
   8. Joe Bivens, Minor Genius Posted: July 28, 2012 at 07:07 PM (#4194738)
I'm ok with it.
   9. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 07:36 PM (#4194754)
Hooray joke of a stadium! Popfly goes for a 3 run homer!!
   10. Matt Clement of Alexandria Posted: July 28, 2012 at 07:43 PM (#4194761)
I missed the last half inning, just re-wound to see the homer. That wasn't an entirely routine flyball, but yeah, something weird happens in right-center in this park.
   11. Biff, highly-regarded young guy Posted: July 28, 2012 at 07:45 PM (#4194763)
...and now Jayson Nix?
   12. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 07:45 PM (#4194765)
Ugh.
   13. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 07:49 PM (#4194771)
And now he completely falls apart because he hans't gotten calls on the corners and he's pouting.
   14. Repoz Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:02 PM (#4194780)
Suzyn Waldman just giggled uncontrollably or she threw up.

More on this later.
   15. Jose Can Still Seabiscuit Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:12 PM (#4194789)
Jon Lester's inability to follow up a run scoring inning by shutting down the opponent is just ridiculous.
   16. Repoz Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:18 PM (#4194792)
Waldling...

Sterling: "Go you A's! Suzyn, the A's are now beating the Orioles 2-0...they..just..win..every..day."

Waldman: "I know, Jahwwn."
   17. Jose Can Still Seabiscuit Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:26 PM (#4194796)
Albers?

Ugh.
   18. Jose Can Still Seabiscuit Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:36 PM (#4194800)
Albers?

Woo!
   19. Biff, highly-regarded young guy Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:55 PM (#4194817)
For ####'s sake.
   20. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:55 PM (#4194819)
Saw that one coming.
   21. Cowboy Popup Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:56 PM (#4194820)
Man, I bet Teixeira was thrilled about that. Talk about a big #### you to Padilla. Of course, this just means Padilla is going to hit him again next time they face each other.
   22. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:56 PM (#4194821)
Good lord I hate Teixeira. I can't believe I was pissed when the Sox didn't sign him.
   23. Phil Coorey. Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:57 PM (#4194822)
sooner this #### a season ends the better
   24. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:57 PM (#4194824)
Not that I'm a fan of Padilla either.
   25. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 08:57 PM (#4194825)
Hey Phil
   26. joeysdadjoe Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:00 PM (#4194829)
Think Tex goes off in the clubhouse again? Only if the Yanks win.
   27. Jose Can Still Seabiscuit Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:00 PM (#4194830)
Howdy Phil. Hope you and yours are well.
   28. Phil Coorey. Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:01 PM (#4194832)

   29. Jose Can Still Seabiscuit Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:03 PM (#4194834)

   30. Phil Coorey. Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:03 PM (#4194836)
Pretty well thanks Jose - life has been full on lately at work , been mainly watching the Sox on the phone
   31. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:03 PM (#4194837)
I'm alright. I've actually been having a lot of fun rooting for the Nationals this season, which has made things easier. I bought a Nats hat after watching Harper's debut in LA.
   32. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:04 PM (#4194838)

You need to get an iPad.
   33. Phil Coorey. Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:06 PM (#4194839)
You need to get an iPad.

Got a mac, which I'm watching in bed now - it's 11 am but work only finished at 4am - i mainly watch the mac
   34. Dan Posted: July 28, 2012 at 09:08 PM (#4194842)
The iPad is much better for watching in bed than the Mac. I watch on my iPad while I use the Mac for chattering and reading stuff between innings and stuff.
