The umpire is not helping Cecil here, much.

Johnny Peralta!

The Tigers' radio announcers are being jinxes. They just said Peralta doesn't have much of a platoon split against lefties. Also, in the first, they were praising Fister for controlling the running game.

Infante, since the trade, is 3 for 20 now! That's a .150 average, so at the moment he represents a downgrade, I believe.

I fear the Tigers are going to regret that top of the fifth.

Cecil's been excellent since the Peralta homer.

Since Peralta's home run, the Tigers in this game batted against Cecil about as well as Infante against AL pitching: 2 for 19 with two walks.

Infante Watch: 3 for 21.

Honestly, I don't think 2 runs is enough of a lead for a team with a closer named Jose Valverde facing a lineup like the Blue Jays'.

Laird is not having a great game with the throwing arm, here.

Jhonny Peralta! Again!

Jose Valverde shows my lack of confidence up. Good for him!
