Freddy Garcia is on the White Sox again?
   2. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 25, 2009 at 11:12 PM (#3304995)
Glad I'm not the only one who had that reaction.
   3. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 25, 2009 at 11:21 PM (#3305008)
Alright Jacoby!!!
   4. Marcel Posted: August 25, 2009 at 11:44 PM (#3305033)
My mom asked me earlier today if she should be rooting for NY or Texas to win in their game today. It felt so wrong to tell her it would be better for the Sox if NY won.
   5. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 25, 2009 at 11:53 PM (#3305045)
Yeah, I know the feeling. I'm already pissed at Joba too.
   6. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 25, 2009 at 11:54 PM (#3305047)
I've lived here my whole life but once in awhile the accent throws me. I wasn't prepared for Remy to refer to the "coper".
   7. Marcel Posted: August 26, 2009 at 12:27 AM (#3305084)
It's too bad Varitek is so slow. I'm going to be interested to see Bill James' baserunning numbers at the end of the year. I wouldn't be suprised at all to see Varitek, Ortiz, and Lowell all in the bottom 10.
   8. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 12:49 AM (#3305099)
Some runs would be super fantastic.
   9. Hugh Jorgan Posted: August 26, 2009 at 12:51 AM (#3305103)
Whatever Lester is on, can he let the rest of the starters have it please? I hold my breath for 4 starts, now that Beckett has reverted to his first 3 games of the year form, and look forward to Lester going every 5 days.
   10. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:03 AM (#3305111)
The lack of run support for Lester shits me
   11. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:04 AM (#3305113)
That is one hell of a way to let the White Sox tie this game up.
   12. Marcel Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:04 AM (#3305114)
Man, I'm so glad that the Sox have a defensive bastion like Varitke behind the plate...
   13. Biff isn't really an apt handle anymore Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:04 AM (#3305115)
What an unlucky as #### bounce there.
   14. Biff isn't really an apt handle anymore Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:05 AM (#3305118)
Man, I'm so glad that the Sox have a defensive bastion like Varitke behind the plate...

Can't really blame Varitek for that one, any sane bounce and he blocks it.
   15. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:05 AM (#3305119)
#### OFF - THIS IS ########
   16. Famous Original Joe C Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:07 AM (#3305120)
What is this, 2005?
   17. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:07 AM (#3305122)
Lowell should have caught that
   18. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:09 AM (#3305125)
This is a ####### joke - Sox better scratch out a ####### win here - nice effort v Freddie Garcia
   19. jacksone (AKA It's OK...) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:09 AM (#3305126)
####### ridiculous.
   20. Famous Original Joe C Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:10 AM (#3305128)
Would anyone else like an infield hit while I'm up?
   21. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:11 AM (#3305130)
Is this for real?? Jesus
   22. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:12 AM (#3305134)
This is a farce - no way they can let Lester lose after that crap - no ####### way
   23. jacksone (AKA It's OK...) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:14 AM (#3305135)
So slowwwwww
   24. Marcel Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:15 AM (#3305136)
If that is really the fastest that Lowell can run, then I don't care how well he's hitting. He needs to be sitting if he's moving slower than a Molina.
   25. jacksone (AKA It's OK...) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:15 AM (#3305138)
Oh that captain of ours. He just knows how to win. Now please, someone get a hit and drive him in.
   26. jacksone (AKA It's OK...) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:19 AM (#3305142)
Nice. I like him.
   27. Marcel Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:22 AM (#3305146)
This is kind of funny, just because there's an article on THT today breaking down the top setup guys in the majors this season and Thornton came out on top. Apparently he didn't bother to read about how good he's supposed to be.
   28. Marcel Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:33 AM (#3305157)
WTF?!?!?!
   29. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:33 AM (#3305158)
Are you kidding me?
   30. jacksone (AKA It's OK...) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:33 AM (#3305159)
Seriously, what the hell is going on?
   31. Curse of the Graffanino (dfan) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:34 AM (#3305160)
I knew that was going to happen as soon as the pitcher looked up.
   32. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:34 AM (#3305161)
Catch the ball you stupid #### - #### - this is going to be the worse loss ever
   33. jacksone (AKA It's OK...) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:34 AM (#3305162)
ANOTHER ###### UP PLAY!!!
   34. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:36 AM (#3305164)
Totally unacceptable
   35. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:37 AM (#3305166)
No prob, just turn a triple play and we're good.
   36. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:37 AM (#3305167)
This is a certifiable fiasco and a season defining #### up if they score
   37. Curse of the Graffanino (dfan) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:39 AM (#3305168)
Whoa, a pop-up and they caught it.
   38. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:39 AM (#3305169)
watch the squeeze here.
   39. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:40 AM (#3305170)
AJ fickwad drives this in
   40. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:43 AM (#3305175)
one more out - one ####### more...
   41. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:44 AM (#3305177)
I'd rather stick with Oki and have Oki face Rios than Delcarmen face Thome.
   42. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:46 AM (#3305178)
This wont end well
   43. Curse of the Graffanino (dfan) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:48 AM (#3305182)

SAD STUFF
   52. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 01:58 AM (#3305200)
I had some brief run ins with hooligans in 2000 when I was there and was not impressed. They thought we were all Man U fans at Upton and were keen to have a go at us. I had no West Ham gear on as I had a date that night - but had tickets for the next three games in my wallets to 'prove' myself.

Pretty ####### childish ####### to be honest
   53. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 02:00 AM (#3305201)
Yeah, I read some stuff about the history that Millwall has, not good stuff.

I heart Victor Martinez.
   54. Curse of the Graffanino (dfan) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 02:00 AM (#3305203)
Nice slide by Green.
   55. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 02:09 AM (#3305207)
Paps - don't #### around today please - we have had enough already
   56. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 02:15 AM (#3305210)
That ball should have been caught by Bay.
   57. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 02:15 AM (#3305211)
How does he not catch that?
   58. Jose Can You Seabiscuit Posted: August 26, 2009 at 02:18 AM (#3305212)
Phil, are you coming around to the idea that he is not a good outfielder?
   59. Curse of the Graffanino (dfan) Posted: August 26, 2009 at 02:19 AM (#3305213)
Go team.
   60. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 26, 2009 at 02:38 AM (#3305223)
Phil, are you coming around to the idea that he is not a good outfielder?

Yes, without a doubt. I meant to imply that for my posy in #57.

Nice tense win - just what we needed!!
