Can't see I didn't see this coming right here. You knew Wood was giving up the lead and Marmol was giving this up. Oh well.
As much as everyone always loved Rothschild, this was one thing that bugged me the entire time he was the Cubs' pitching coach. As soon as there were two strikes, pitchers always started nibbling, and would waste a couple of pitches if the hitter didn't bite. Seemed like a philosophical approach and it always drove me nuts.
Semmed like it reached it's pinnacle in the 2003 NLCS.
So he is already in midseason form?
Yep, he's injured.
